OK.. Vier Days are finally coming to Canada next June and I'm planning on going. I've heard alot of great things about the school.

I'm going to install new break fluid and pads (Brakeman 3's seem to be the choice). Anything else I should be looking at?? and No twin turbos are not in the budget this year...lol

Who's attended Viper Days before, what can I expect and how much fun am I going to have???? :drive:

Is spring here yet???:crazy2:

I don't know what tires are on your car, but you might want to consider some new boots for the event.
I hope to get there!

You will need a helmet, long pants, a long sleeve shirt and an open mind... Think "smoothness".

How much fun you ask? Let's just say that driving on the track is like an addictive drug.

Oh, and be sure that your new brake fluid is properly bled before heading on the track.

I just had a new set of PS2's installed this summer, so I'm OK for rubber. I have a helmet and all the gear, so after I upgrade my brakes I think I'm good to go.

Do the compe coupes race at every Viper Days event??? I did not know that... I'm still waiting to find out how the whole weekend works, but I'm getting there...

Thanks for the pics Dave, hope to see you there...

Glenn:

The Comp Coupes and race-prepared GTS' race at nearly every event.

The way it typically works is that they divide the drivers into 4 run groups based on experience (rookie, intermediate, advanced, and racers). Each run group gets four 30 min. track sessions throughout the day. Driving instructors (provided by Viper Days) are mandatory for rookies. Inbetween track sessions, there is often classroom instruction.

One of the best parts about these events is the Viper community - you will learn lots about your car, and make some new friends. Also, do not hesitate to avail yourself of the track support services offered by Archer Racing - NOBODY knows Vipers better than them.

The Canadian Club had The 2007 Eastern Rendzevous at Calbogie. Awesome race track and very technical. The Canadian club knows how to hold a party.
