WHAT A SHOW...82 cars in event.

Great VRL race today won by Comp Coupe with Henry Cone as Driver and Janni Cone as Crew Chief...CONGRATS !!!

Saw the new 2006 SRT Coupe today as well....dressed in black.

Noted that the Ford GT got around the the track nicely.

Plenty of cars to see, and plenty of action planned for Sunday...something for everyone...come on out!!!!!

Excuses, excuses I know, but I worked on my car until 3am Thursday and couldn't on the road early enough Friday to make the show. D*mn.

Looking forward to hearing more.

I usually don't have a camera on hand but brought one this time knowing the coupe would be there so here you go.
Dan Knotts is a really nice guy... he parked the car next to mine (red #15).
He drove it in the Green group with his son.

He said it was 30% stiffer than the vert and only weighed 15 lbs more.

He also said Dodge had the engine power "certified" like GM did with the vette and, get this, it just happens to be 510 HP!!! (535 torque).
So the Viper still has bragging rights!

Between you, me, and everyone else reading this, when he first pulled up beside me, I only caught the car with my peripheral vision and I thought another vette was gonna take up residence beside me.... sorry :(

Great news on the HP incease, albiet not a very significant one. The rear is growing on me a little, but mixed with the srt front still looks wrong. Maybe if it was dropped a bit.

Glad to see you guys arent reading to closesly. The srt-10 coupe didnt get any real power upgrade, it was just recertified under the new standard. So its no stronger then the 03-05 srt-10's.
