Viper Days Logo Design Contest

Do you like the current Viper Days logo? We do too, but we’re wondering if it is getting a bit dated. The Viper Days’ team is looking for your input to create a new logo that will be used as the official face of Viper Days or stay with the current one.

Details
• The design must contain the phrase “Viper Days”.
• No copyrighted materials may be submitted.
• The current logo will be included in the voting. (See attachement)
• Deadline for design submission: midnight PST on November 25, 2009.
• There is no fee to enter the contest; however, there is a maximum of 5 entries per person.

How to Submit a Design
• Submit entries by email to [email protected].
• Please submit all logos as an EPS, AI, JPEG, GIF, or PNG (your choice) attachment in the email.
• Include in your submission email: the name, postal address, phone number, and email address of the entrant.

Determining the Winner
• The Viper Days’ team will select 5 finalists.
• The 5 finalists and the current logo will be voted on in a VCA forum.
• Deadline for voting on the finalists: midnight on December 14, 2009.
• The final winner will be selected based on the number of votes it receives.
• Viper Days will retain copyright to the winning design.

Prizes
• The winning entry will receive a free Viper Days VRL or Challenge Series weekend at any event on our 2010 schedule.
• Runners up in the finalists group will receive half off any Viper Days VRL or Challenge Series weekend at any track on our 2010 schedule.
• If the current logo is retained by your votes, the entry receiving the second most votes will be declared the winner and will receive a free Viper Days VRL or Challenge Series weekend at any event on our 2010 schedule.

What are the dimensions you want for the logo...120x120? That one looks pretty good at that rez.

I would assume it needs to be a rasterized/vector image?

Heck, you can even draw one on a paper napkin & scan it, and enter that.

Vector is nice but we'll look at it all. You need not be an artist, just have a good design. We can clean it up for the voting if you're selected.

Does it have to have the overall shape, or is "Viper Days" the only requirement?
