Hey fella's. Havent posted much lately but I'm still around. Thought ya'll might get a kick out of this. A friend of mine just got a 2003 Porsche 996 twin turbo with the x-50 package. The package includes upgraded turbos, intercoolers, transmission, and computer from the factory. It's good for a 450hp factory rating. Since this is about the meanest thing Porsche has to offer I figured you should see the results of this encounter. All of the details are on the page I built. Enjoy.

This is alittle off the subject but I love you website. Where can I get one like that? How much does it cost and what type of space can I get for the money? I have alot of dyno pulls and pics of the cars in my stable that others might want to see.

Very interesting race. One which most of us would not be able to duplicate.

However the cameraman needs some work. He should make sure he does not zoom in so much and actually try to keep the camera steady. Getting close shots of the 911 fender make it very difficult to watch. I have taped races in 750hp cars and managed to keep the camera steady using a wider angle and a steady hand. Just my $.02

You guys should see the posts on the Porsche forums. Its amazing how ignorant people can be, especialy people that spend 150k on a car. One guy came out and said he LAPS vipers in his x50 at willow springs.

hey guys sorry my server is down. I have exceeded my bandwidth for a 24 hour period. Should be up and going tomorrow(4-12) so be sure and check it out. Video 1 was downloaded 370 times and video 2 was downloaded 260 times in a 12 hour period!!

Looks like some pretty close racing. I guess the exhaust may have given you the extra edge you needed. Completely stock it seems the cars would be dead even, but then one has to factor in the driver.

The Porsche had a passanger with him also. The only difference worth mentioning is he speed shift (doesnt lift off of the gas) and I will not do that to my car.

The gt-2 has the same power but weighs a little less because it is rear wheel drive. I would bet I would leave a GT-2 from the line but he may have the power to weight ratio to walk me down. That's when I flip the switch and smoke him.

Only from a 100 mph roll, Paul Mumford just got a GT2 and called me when he had 500 miles on it to go to WSIR and track em on street tires, my '00 RT/10 had a full Bellanger exhaust making 431 RWHP and 472 RWTQ, we're on the 14 at 6am and it's empty and are coming up on a 5 mile straight, we line up next to each other at 100 mph and count it down in 4th, boom we're off to just north of 160 mph and he pulled me by 2 car lengths. Remember the RT has the areo of a brick.

That's about how I thought a gt-2 would do. I would bet from 0-100mph you would be out front.
