Hi, I am curious to know what you guys use to get under your viper. and to qualify this I am a regular guy without a fancy lift.

I want to do all my own mods and service so having a good system is key.

Are there certain jacks and stands that you guys have found ideal for a viper?

thx

Neil

Explaining Viper things to you
I use Race Ramps XT and then 2 quick pump floor jacks to lift the back and put it on stands. Spent about $700 and it all fits in a closet when I'm not using it. Car will be up 10" and I've yanked the tranny several times from that height.

Here's a pic up in the air when I was doing my exhaust system. I built some wheel stands to yank the ramps out of the way for better access depending on what I'm doing. The ramps can be a PITA to crawl over, but they fit in a closet when I'm done with them. ;)

I've found that a low profile jack like this one from Harbor Freight works well. That and 4 Craftsman jack stands is about all I need to do maintenance under my car.

Sears has an aluminum race jack, it is on sale this weekend for 159, if you are a craftsmen member, if not its like 179, but still not bad, it fits under the viper.
