I took the car over to Warnock Dodge in Hanover NJ. To reiterate it is a 06 coupe I got from Buhler 2 weeks ago running rough and surging on accel. At Warnock when you check in they put a floor mat down and cover your seat with plastic. The regular car jockey doesn't touch the car. They call their Viper specialist who was Scott Sorrentino to take the car back inside to the holding area for vipers out of the way and safe. In less than 10 mins he came out holding a broken spark plug, the insulation on the tip was sliding around on the center electrode. I feel better already. He is a okay I highly recomend Scott. He even gives you his business card with his cell phone number (thats okay). I felt so good about it I asked if he could put the 170 thermostat in that was in the glove box, he said sure that took less than 25 mins and i was on my way. Not one fingerprint or spot anywhere i am impressed. Tonight the new pcm from Jon and then the K&N and high flow cats and corsa from Jon should be done by the weekend can't wait to get a few more miles on it. You guys were right you suggested changing the plugs. Thanks everyone for the help.

That is the kind of service we all should receive. I am happy it was only a spark plug like I suspected it was.

On another note which I am going to start a new post on is that I was at a local dealer whom I wanted to re flash my body control module for the headlight recall and I asked him if his shop was viper certified. He said yes so I asked him for his certification papers. He comes out with a paper from back in 2004 that does not list the tech's name on it. I asked him to show me the tech's certification papers and was told he did not have to show them to me. I told him my wife works for DC in warranty and that he has to show me. I was very polite the whole time. He then showed me the door. I told him that he was lying to me from the beginning and that I was going to report him to DC. It is time that we all make a big fuss over this problem so that DC finally does something about the fact that non certified dealers are having repair jockeys messing with our $95,500.00 cars.
