As to how to properly install one of the many variations of a great unit for a Viper, become a VCA memer and then sign on and then look in the Illustrated Guides as there is a detailed complete installation with lots of photos.

Unfortunately, I'm not allowed to become a VCA member even though I own an Dodge-built, Viper-powered vehicle.
Tomahawk owners aren't allowed membership to the VCA either.
Those are the rules, and I have to play by them.

Believe me, if I were a member you'd have 20 more DIY articles (with pics) on your forum before dinner.
