Viper_on_a_Viper.jpg

A guy was walking with this snake around his neck and I took a cell phone pic of him. My cell was out of memory and the snake was getting nervous with the heat coming out of the scoop. I got a little too close a few times, but fortunately did not get bit. The guy said it was a Boa and a Viper. I don't know snakes too well, so I did not question him. :headbang:

And environmentalists say Vipers are bad for the environment, but you have successfully brought the two worlds together. Cool pic!!

Sorry boys and girls but aside from the car there is no Viper in that picture. That is a Ball Python with an aberrant patern. (Not a Boa) It is not a Viper (venomous snake) and it is quite harmless. (Unless you're a mouse)

It makes you wonder why the guy told me it was a Boa and a Viper. I guess he just wanted the snake to fit the car. Oh well, it is a snake and a Viper anyway. I thought it would make a good picture.

That is a Ball Python and can be stumbled upon at any pet store. They only grow to about 4 feet and are as lazy as the days are long. It is about as exotic as fleas on a stray dog. Get another pic with an Eastern Diamondback Rattlesnake or even better, a Gaboon or Rhinoceros Viper. Make sure that the model holding the snake is expendable and/or has you listed in his or her will.

Actually, go with the black mamba...the deadliest venom of all vipers. Not to mention they are fast and strike quickly.

In Texas, we call those earthworms.

I hear everything is bigger in TX. Nice place been there a few times on biz. The next time the orange and black striped snake comes back to my driveway ( I parked a car on him to try to kill him and it did not phase him) that was 8' long and big around enough to choke a horse literally, I will send it to you as a souvenier from up north and show you how we grow em up here out in the country. Better yet, I will send you the next one I catch in my house.;)

You sure that was not the garden hose you picked up at home depot.............lol

That must have been what it was, a garden hose from Home Depot with beady eyes and blood squirting out of it instead of water when I chopped it up. Wish you could have been there. :lmao:

That is correct. The Black Mamba (Dendroaspis Polylepis) produces the deadliest venom, but bites are quite rare. This is because when you encounter one of these bad boys (or girls) it will try to escape rather than strike. Kudos to the first person that tells me why they are called Black Mambas.
