Viper on ER tonight

I just saw the preview for ER tonight.Its a black GTS I think It gets into a good crash....

I can't believe I stayed up to watch that. At least the Viper scenes were in the early part of the show.

Did you see the episode where he drove it out on the Golf course to get this eye doc to work on a little girl in the E.R.? It looked like a saphire blue ACR.

I couldn't even see any damage on the shots they had of the supposed crash. Hope JonB didn't put in too much hard work setting those producers up with damaged parts to "stage" this crash. This episode was bad to say the least... every 10 minutes they went back in time a couple hours... DOH!

It was a sapphire blue ACR, and the one on the golf course is DIFFERENT from the one on the other shows. The golf course one is owned by VCA members Bill and Denise Braun. The other one is owned by a production company in California. The cool thing is that the one from Chicago has stripes on it in real life. For the show they sprayed a water color based paint on the stripes, and when they finished the shot it washed right off.

Yes indeed, the crash scenes were shot in a CA studio.

PartsRack helped provide --rented!-- some damaged parts which were then painted sapphire blue. Producres removed the good hood and 'crashed' our old hood. They even wanted exploded airbags to add to the realism, but I did NOT see them in the scenes.

Go figure..
