Heh, guys, I would have to say that the White promises to be very unique and not pedestrian by any means,but no one said DC wouldn't do two new
colors. Wolfgang,Deiter, Christie, and gang all seem to be listening very well to their favorite Viperholics, so just petition yo-self up there for a little
Mellow Yellow!! I think 2004 should be the " Year of the Four," which means four colors , of course. Hans, Andy, John, Mike, Steve, Jim and the rest, it's
time to really make those wishes known. Try these methods listed below:
1. Begging Method........................................call VCA , place clothespin on nose, and whine as loudly as possible, " Yellow....pleeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeezzz!"
2. Write letters to Wolfgang with the title , " Yellow is sehr gute. Ich muche haben das Wunderbar color. " My apologies to Wolfgang, as my German
obviously isn't as good as it used to be, but he will see your sincerity and extra effort.
3. Fax Darryl Jackson pictures of Yellow Hemi Trucks ( he loves his Dodge trucks and I can't blame him ) , and suggest a Yellow SRT-10 would look
perfect next to the Ram.
4. Get on this board and when someone says we need a Yellow SRT-10, be a Bumpmeister --- hit bump every three minutes and become so annoying
they do Yellow just to get you to quit.
5. Walk in front of DC headquarters with a placard , picketing with the slogan, " Hello, we need Yellow!"
6. Refuse to eat the egg whites at breakfast --- eat only the Yellow Yolks.
7. Promise to name your next child Dodge, Viper, Ram, Neon, or some other appropriate name , if they do Yellow.
8. Remind them Corvette does Yellow and you want to have more color ,as well as more horsepower when compared to a Chebby!
9. Demonstrate for religious purposes that you must have a Yellow Viper, as you worship the Sun, and it's yellow, and you need to have a Yellow SRT-10
for a shrine to hot,yellow power! Get Sun Ra Kat to do your music for you, and at 6'5" he could be da Head Sun Monk!
10. .....and lastly, call or email Joe Houss everyday for the next month to properly initiate him into the Presidency - an SRT in Yellow , makes Joe a swell

why the decision for white? I don't think I've ever seen anyone beg for it on here but I do see DEMAND for yellow. Way back when when I was photoshooping them for the first time everyone liked the yellow by far. What color did the producers of Fast & the Furious 2 paint the Vipers for the movie? YELLOW!
I dunno, I really don't see how "dazzling" you can make white. Intrepids, cavaliers and pick-ups come in white it's such a BLAH color.
So fine, lets comprimise, add a new color and have 4, oh the horror that will be. Don't want to mess up the strategic plans to push out all the 05's once the coupe is on the way, gotta give people a reason to buy it once there's a GTS commin'

plenty of time for color number 4. Numerologists of the World Unite ------- 4 colors for 2004!!

While I want that White (mine would then get RED stripes with a red trimmed interior), I would also like to see Yellow as a fourth color. And, I think I can bring an argument to the table....... maybe slightly better than Bill's??
Here's mine! I'm a SEMA member (Specialty Equipment Manufacturers Association). Many moons ago (reference to Pemberton's Indian heritage above), SEMA gave us password access to a confidential database where all the manufacturers list the paint codes and colors for all those they will be using in the upcoming year. Well, guess what? Way back in late 2002, Dodge listed FOUR colors and codes for Vipers to be used at some point in 2003. Yes, there were the Red, Black and Silver we all have so far....... BUT, "Viper Race Yellow" was listed too. Now, I know they did use that on the Fast & Furious cars, but that doesn't count. It meant to me and others that Yellow would CERTAINLY be one of the colors rolling out the CAAP door late this year, being used on the 2004 model. Let's think how to best phrase this....... VAST numbers of aftermarket manufacturers have ALREADY been counting on Yellow being produced during the 2003 calendar year! Can we legally dare to snub them? Out of concern for potential liability for DC, I think we have to persuade them they HAVE to make BOTH White and Yellow now!!! New slogan....... FOUR FOR FOUR????

White makes perfect sense given the sales/historical stimulus profile of the car. It is unlikely you will see yellow before the '06 or, more likely, '07 model year.
Factory striping will likely be offered in the '05 model year.

PVO has made it clear that they want and have the capability to use more colors, so a yellow I am sure has a chance. But I also know that there may be other colors that have not been offered in the past that may appear before the yellow option.

Yes Paul, those "motor City" folks lie!!!! Glad I am in Chi-town. As of now I have not read anything saying either was final. Yellow was in place, but then they did a drop-dead white and the top brass is now trying to decide. At least that is what I have heard so far.
I think it will be white cause I showed them pictures of owners who want white and those who want yellow, and it is clear that the ones who want white are smarter!!!!! And I think they agree!

Why can't they make both - If they end up doing only black, read and white I am willing to bet that sales stats after the fact will a very few white orders compared to the other 2 colors.
Equally should they decide to do 4 collors (YELLOW, black, read and white) I am again willing to bet that actual white purchases at the end of the will be the sore loser !!!

I'm betting it's purely strategic in order to keep sales moving in the future. I'm sure they know that yellow is the horse to bet on so why not use it to push the 05's out for the coupe in 06'? Sure they say "no coupe yet" but the execs aren't idiots, they know it would sell and that people want it.

white would be a great color i have bought numerous white cars new '86 CRX Si, '91 explorer, '94 & '97 Grand cherokee, numerous silver cars '00 GMC yukon, '02 Merc-Benz E-320 4-matic, '03 Chrysler T/C mini-van, '03 SRT. If they make white I may buy an '04 SRT and sell my silver, if it's yellow I'll probably keep the '03.

I'll repaint that white stuff as soon as it hits the driveway. Yellow. At least if white is THE color for 2004, I'll move WAY up on the waiting list at Bill's place.
