Viper Owner
Everyone’s familiar with the term “Viper Tax”. It’s a cute term we use to complain about how much we pay for Viper stuff. The actual truth is that “Viper Tax” is basically “price gouging” and I have no problem exposing it when given the chance.
Pictured below is a “Smooth Tube” for an SRT-10. It replaces the stock accordion tube from the intake. Most Viper places charge around $90 for one of these. I needed a new one and got this one from www.HoseTechniques.com for $14.50.
Some will try and say it’s of low quality but it’s not. It’s the same 5-ply silicone hose that Viper places sell. Look closely and you can even see the plies in the photo.
