Actually this is a no win question. As any answer avout that Viper could have been right

The parts I found interesting about the 2003 Raffle Viper

1. Was the only 2004 with stripes
2. It's a 2004 built on 08/21/03 VIN ending 0001
3. Was not the first 2004 built, first was built on 05/22/03 VIN ending 0002

Heard its stored in a garage somewhere in Kansas.

Well, if it is now there, I would have no idea. only going by what I do know..... I think

I won one-of-a-kind factory customized 2004 SRT-10 Dodge Viper in Race Yellow,
VIN number 0001 and retail price $115,995 (with $32,000 VCA Special Edition).

Sorry about the delay in response, but here is my story:
I wanted to buy a Viper for many years. I had never test drove any Vipers before I bought one.
I only saw it less than 10 times on the street but never had even touched one.
Early last year, I touched the first Viper ever (Spider man car, just a body with no engine) in
Universal Studio Theme Park so I decided to buy one. I wanted to buy a brand new red or black
2003 SRT-10 Viper but they all wanted more than $90,000 (for a used one!).
So I started looking for a new 2001 or 2002 GTS (ACR is optional).
In June 2003, I almost bought a 2001 yellow with black racing stripes Viper (about 3K mi) from
Mr. Marv Rose (a very nice man and also a VCA member, "dodgevipersforsale.com")
but I changed my mind and bought a brand new never titled 2002 Red ACR Dodge Viper
(Only 28 Red ACR Vipers made in 2002) from Mr. Don Wilson (Exotic Cars Inc. also a VCA member).
Mr Don Wilson bought the car from Town And Country Dodge in Michigan. I was very happy to own
this limited production Red ACR Viper. In August, I bought another brand new Silver 2003 SRT-10
Dodge Viper (VIN 1B3JR65Z03V501287) from "stcharlesmotorsports.com", but I changed
my mind because Silver color is not my first choice.
So I ask my car broker Mr. Don Wilson to sell it for me. I had it shipped to
him on a Saturday and he sold it on Monday! We made some money in the transaction.
I decided to join the club because I wanted to participate in events and I bought nine raffle
tickets (#1269-1278). It turned out that I only needed the first ticket to win (#1269)!
I could not believe it when I checked my email and voice mails from Ms. Kimberly Vogt
(Viper Headquater) who sent congratulations to me and confirmed my winning.
Later, Mr. Bill Pemberton from Woodhouse Chrysler in NE called me to arranged the delivery of
my new car. He told me two things I should know about this yellow Viper: it has a VIN
number "0001" and it is the most expensive street Viper ever built by the factory.
I contacted Mr. John Marlow and Mr. John Knowd from Turtle Click Dodge in Irvine about the
delivery of my new car. Kimberly shipped the new Viper to this dealer on Saturday November 8.
I was shock to see how beautiful it looks both exterior and the interior. All I said is
"Whow"! Kimberly also mailed me a photo album which showed the car being built, a big photo
of the car with the people at the Viper Head Quarter, two car covers (one with my name
embroiled on it), the car's window ticker in a big photo frame.
The Southern California VCA region president, Greg Baxter and The Secretary Malanie Baxter
were there to congratulate and take picture of me, my family and my new car.
I will post some pictures as soon as I figure how to do it.

I would like to thank Viper Club of America, Mr. Joseph Houss, Kim Vogt, Bill Pemberton,
Greg and Malanie Baxter, John Knowd and John Marlow for making my dream come true. And last
but not least, thanks to the people at Dodge for their hard working in
designing and building this beautiful Viper. I am sorry if I missed to mention any names.

All my friends knew that I always wanted to own a Yellow Viper with Black stripes. Unluckily,
I could not found one myself, but God gives me one much better than I could imagine! I will
treasure it for all my life.

They are commemorated with an imprint of Gerard Butler's screaming face on the dash board.

Also looks like it still has grey calipers, which I know changed in 2004. Was that a mid-year change or something that carried over into 04 before they ran out?

I believe Copperheads were 2005 or 2006. Always liked them.
