This is easy.....

Red with White stripes GTS. Add a wing and white raised decals on the side of the hood (like the ones we have now). Red and black interior with special embroider seats and a special dash plaque. Special number the car (like the GT2) and put it on display. I might add a new front fascia much like the GT2, but not necessary.

Take pictures of the viper being built and display them next to the car so people can see how much quality & craftsmanship goes in to our vipers. Side pipes would be excellent, however again not a necessary modification.

If dodge built this color combo, I would own 2 GTS's right now. When the Daytona edition rumors were going around, I was ready to buy another viper. Red and white (although never made) is the best color combo on a viper and would have been the deal closer for me.

One more item..... NO BBS wheels. They're to hard to keep clean and I prefer the look of the 99' and newer stock wheels.

While I'm at it, I would not include the ACR package. No need for the ACR package if you're going to put it in a museum.

I'm with Cody---
Let's face it..... DODGE means RED.....Is there any other color for the DODGE Boys other than RED??? (like the last car...Duh!)
Then put Stripes on it---ALL GTS's HAVE to have STRIPES...and to commorate the GTS, make the stripes WHITE (like the original).
Add the Wayyyyyy kool seats as seen in Phoenix..... and a wing to commorate the GT2's and you have pieces of all the cars and DODGE Red!!! This is what I think they will do for the museum car!!!

Dodge means red NOW, for a relatively recent ad campaign, begun in 2000. (vs. Dodge history that is) I agree the impact is tremendous, but fleeting. And I applaud Jim Julow for keeping it alive and FRESH.

But Mopar = HPar. A Red Viper awakened Dodge/Chrysler. A Blue GTS made it soar...........

The "Lil Red Express" was a similiar red flash 2 decades ago.

Looking at the TV adds... the NEW RAM is in Black.. the VIPER is in red- even upside down and flying over the other cars.
The SRT RAM is offered in TWO colors....Black...and RED!!!
Go figure..It'll be RED for a while!!!

Great to see that this post is back near the top of the discussion board. I thought it had just faded away. For those who have not seen the red/black interior i mentioned in an earlier post there is a scan of it in another post. Hopefully one of the moderators reads this and knows how to drop/paste that post (with picture) after this post. Lets see how crafty our moderators are? I am computer challenged so all I can do is ask for help.

Obviously, I have strong support for the idea of the red GTS with white stripes. Big surprise, right?

Over the years I've shared many conversations with Dodge executives and "Team Viper" guys who have told me privately that they LOVED the red/white combo. Back in 97, when I first put the white stripes on, perhaps THE most legendary factory Viper fanatic told me HE thought it was the most beautiful Viper he'd ever seen. I find it almost BEYOND BELIEF that they never gave us this combo right from the assembly line.... ESPECIALLY because as already WELL said..... RED means DODGE!!!

Yea, the GT2 wing, the special interior and decals, and we'll finally have the snake they SHOULD have built long ago!
