Took a test run this morning around 10:30am down Santiago Canyon Rd through the canyon here in OC. I was testing some alignment changes. Lucky for me I got stuck behind a group of cars doing 60ish. About a mile before Cooks Corner a CHP pulls out in front of us and stops all traffic south bound. We sat there, pulled over on the shoulder, for about 10 minutes.
After he let us go, just over a hill, a half dozen police and CHP's and some cal dot trucks had a Viper (Red late model coupe) and what looked to be a Z06 or ZR1 (late model cyber gray) pulled over in a driveway. Cars were being searched.
So if I had to guess, the two were racing and got caught. Not a good thing. Don't cars get confiscated if the infraction is bad enough? That's it, I've given up on Santiago Cayon Rd. way too many cops no matter what day of time.
