i'm just saying 8000k to me look like the brightest over all, they do have that tiny blue tint to it, and we compared 6000K and 8000k side by side, i mean when it come down to HID, it's really hard to say which one is brighter, becuase they are bright, but some with a little blue color tint to it, seen brightER...

Do you have any information on the difference in lumens between the lamps?

venom, i am not sure what you mean by,"you get what you pay for," because the guys on ebay are selling for basically the same price as you, so are we to believe that since we are paying the same amount and there kits are JDM and cheap, that yours too being JDM are also cheap. please explain.

I highly doubt the SRT-10 are 8000K I would bet they are around the 4500K range.

As far as venomblue saying that the 8000K kits are the brightest...I don't believe that to be true either. The more you talk about the HID's the more it appears you don't know much about them.

8000K is a purplish tint to it. The lower the heat range the less purple it gets and whitish blue...look at the BMW's they are in the 4000K range.

our kit retail is at $450 per kit, and since we are dealing with tons of kits at once, we are able to get them cheaper and resell them cheaper to all VCA members, i mean i dont know anything about those sellers on ebay, but we do have kits here bought from ebay, and they only last for 1 week, so i can say our kit is much longer lasting than ebay kits at least, cheap 1 week kit = cheaper price, i mean AB did a groupbuy on this same kits, and no one complain about anything yet....i'm not trying to make everyone buy our kits, just because we say they are better, i'm just here to offer these kits to everyone for a very reasonable price...thanks

I had a problem with the first kit that Ab sent to me from the group buy..... Ab provided EXCELLENT customer service... he contacted the person who shipped the wrong kit and made sure that I was taken care of.

I was very pleased with the transaction.... Ab is a stand up guy....... I would buy through him again.

SRT-10 is somewhere between 4500K and 5500K. They are not as blue as Audi/BMW at ~5500K (but that could partially be due to the shape of the headlight chamber), but definatly more blue than the 4300K that comes in some cars.

In case anyone failed to mention it, the higher the kelvin rating above 4300K, the less usable light the headlights produce. 5500 or so is the best combo of Blue/Light, but up to 8000 is OK. But kits like 12000 are virtually usless in my opinion. Might as well just stick UV "Black Light" bulbs in your car...
