This morning the light flicked and then went out again so I drove home to try to determine how it is happening. Normally I drive on high beams when there isn't any traffic. To day they went out just after using the direction signal so I went home and parked in front to my garage door so I could observe when the light flickered or went out. I shut the car down and went in for a cup of coffee and returned to the SRT-10 about 30 min later to restart the car and turn the lights on. I let it run for about 10 min and all was fine even turning the steering wheel from side to side. All went well so I put the high beams on and another 10 min passed with no problem while turning the wheel. Now I put the left directional on and turned the wheel all the way to the left and when I brought the wheel back passed the point it turns of the directional signal off WAM!!! the light go out so I move the high low lever to low to turn the low beam lights on and wow the lights com back on. Ok things might look like I am tracking this down so I try the same test with the right side. You will never guess!!! the same thing happens.
I think now my oppinion is that there is a steering collumn issue that needs to be looked into. I tried it several more times and the same result 4 out of 5 times. Seems like the folks at DC need to look at correcting this before someone get hurt. My oppinon is to get someone at DC to take a hard look at this and help us all with the problem. I did also notice that going from high to low and back the lights would flicked and somertimes go out.
Anyone else see this with their SRT-10
