what are the best sill protectors??

I have an extra set of the stainless ones I'll sell you. PM if want them. I picked up the last set of carbon ones from Mark at Woodhouse so I don't need these.

The 3M clear bra was put on by the previous owner in 2008 and it has held up very well. I do not think heat has been an issue at all; no discoloration or adhesion issues.

I had my sills covered over 4 years ago. No issues at all from the heat. All the damage is from road debris, hitting a tire wall at Road America, and 10 thousand road/track miles. I recently peeled it off due to all the damage and to get the panel ready for repair and there is not one mark on the area covered by the clear film. The portion above the body line was not covered. Wish I would have covered the whole thing. Would have saved me from having to get it repaired.

As far as the OP's original question. I have the SS ones from VPA and they work and look great. No problems so far. They have adhesive to stick to the sill and come with new SS hardware to screw them in.
