I am an avid Facebook user. I thought one day....Hey.. I sure would be cool if I could chat with other Viper owner's via facebook. Then I searched the page and found:

Dodge Viper | Facebook

Then the more I started viewing the page the more I noticed a trend...... The same kids posting all day, posting pics of car's they do NOT own, and most have never even seen a Viper in person. I think something should be done.

Is there another Page? Am I missing something here?

I never even check the page, but if I see any updates from it on my news feed when I log into facebook, I might chime in on some things if I feel the need. ;)

Sounds like a waste of your life to me. Just ignore it.:)

If you have real viper friends in your area that you want to keep in touch with on FB then simply add them as friends. Otherwise the VCA Forum is plenty enough for communicating with random viper owners & enthusiasts :2tu:

I agree. I agree.

Did you learn that by some "news" story?

You do know everytime you take you car out of the garage, you run the same risk? Hell just open the garage door and someone can drive by and see it. I bet 99.9% that someone is more likely to see your car this way and steal it then if you post a comment on Facebook. Well of course this percent goes down if you post your address, and that the keys are in the car, garage door unlocked, and that your won't be home for the next 3 months.;)

Don't live your life in fear, it's wayyyy toooo short.:)

Im sure nobody around MY house would be willing to steal my car. They all drive cars as nice, or nicer then mine. I live on a private road, and would have to say even visitor's in the area would have NO ambition to steal my car. Being that facebook give's everything to everyone I think that would up my chances of having a problem.

Usually keys are in my car, and the garage is always unlocked!

In a house.

This is all assuming you could get past my Doberman, and run faster then myself and my 9mm. And somehow distract my neighbor who is a police officer. Odds are in not in someone's favor. Besides that I have a friend that is chief of police, and I am sure as soon as he call's in Flat Black Viper stolen it will turn up somewhere. And even if it didn't its insure beyond 50K, which just means I could buy my 06 coupe:)
