Well, the 2003's were sold out over a year ago. You can either:

A. Buy one from a broker or used, or find a dealer that may have one that wasn't claimed (try Woodhouse Dodge at 800-889-1893 - Bill Pemberton).

B. Put your name on a list for a 2004, which is what many have already done. Again, I think Woodhouse is one of the most fair dealers when it comes to a Viper purchase.

As to what you will pay, you will be lucky to find a 2003 at MSRP right now ($83,795). They are simply sold out. Heck, a used 2003 just sold for $86,210.00 on eBay. You can probably order or get in line for a 2004 for less. Good luck!

Contact your local VCA officer. He or she may know of any SRT's that may be available as Chris mentioned above. Since you did not register with an email address, we cannot contact you....

AVOID the broker type folks - you can certainly do better on your own and using the resources available through the VCA.

In this area, I have heard that sticker is possible. It is all timing. The car will get somewhat cheaper as supply catches up - how long are you willing to wait?

On the other hand, if I were buying my first Viper, I would look long & hard at the '02 and earlier cars. Classic styling and much, much less. The aftermarket is mature and you can make SRT power very easily and with the '01 & '02, the ABS brakes and larger rear calipers are close to SRT in performance, too.
