When you purchased your SRT-10, were you thinking:
a. This is my ultimate car, and I'll be keeping it for many years.
b. This is a great car, but I turn them over rapidly.
c. I plan to keep the SRT-10 and add other cars in the future.
d. My SRT-10 was merely a step on the path to its successor.
e. I bought the SRT-10 for its gas mileage

I would go with "e" the idea that my SRT-10 when driven properly gets about
4 mpg lets me know that:

a. This is my ultimate car, With 505CI.
b. This is a great car, With 10 cyl.
c. I plan to keep the SRT-10 till more displacement, more cylinders or more horse power is offered.
d. My SRT-10 was merely a step in the wright direction.

Hope that wasn't to corny.

Soo:

For me, it was always "d."

The car is like no other, and I cannot imagine liking one better, but time and technology march onward. Whenever its successor is announced, I'll be in line. Thanks for asking.

Thank you for asking. No, I am not married. However, my husband is. My sister was an only child, and that has always indicated to me that one never trusts a naked bus driver.

Alice, although misguided, I appreciate your postion concerning naked bus drivers. I am reminded of the days of my misspent youth. You see, we once borrowed a school bus and....................well never mind. You get the idea. I am not sure if the statute of limitations has expired.

Brian:

It is "statute" of limitations, not "statue" of limitations. The former refers to law; the latter refers to a sculpture which displays small genetalia.

I believe that the statute for being naked on a bus is two years. It is a misdemeanor, and while listed as "public indecency," for some individuals, being naked is more indecent than it is for others.

Back to the topic, whatever that may have been, I do believe that many buy a Viper with the concept that it is a final purchase and that the urge to replace it will never occur.

P.S. There is a pool being held on what car you have on order to replace your SRT-10. My guess is that it is a Ford Thunderbolt.
