SVSi last year said that since they broke the record at bonneville salt Flats they would be in magazines and have the recod posted on their website. Could someone tell me if that was just a bunch of crap or was it for real. I am interested in finding out the truth as i want to upgrade my car to possibly a twin turbo and i want to know who is the best

thanks

So I guess that is the answer. The SVSi viper was a fraud when it came to the bonneville trap speed that it claimed it achieved. So who now is making the most horsepower from all the Viper tuners

I don't think svsi was a fraud for the bonneville trap speed. I believe they did do it but I don't know for sure the details. There are tuners that sell bolt on power add ons for high horsepower at reasonable prices. It seems texas cars are some of the quickest around. So I would think TnT and other texas tuners for the fastest dragstrip cars. For the street DLM builds the highest horsepower cars on a production level and getting more extreme as time goes on.

Cheers,
Tom

The article was to appear in the latest edition of Viper Magazine, but it got bumped to the next issue. As for it being "a bunch of Crap", that is a real ignorant statement. I know Doug at DLM and Ron at SVSi, both great guys and ones who have done a great job on customers cars in the past. I know for a fact (I got to see the car covered in the salt and the time slips) that the SVSi Stryker Viper ran 247 MPH ( and that is the AVERAGE Speed in the run back and forth) at Bonneville this past year.

It is a real shame when people take any opportunity to make an attack for any unsubstantiated reason. If you have a favorite fine, but there is no need to lie yourself, and then deface someone who is out there trying to give ALL of the Viper Nation a title to be proud of.

I never badmouthed the guys at SVSi. But hey told me that it would be posted on their website and that it would be in magazines. I would like to see all vipers do well. So if it happened i am very happy that it was in a Viper. Whoever can bring the Viper name to the forfront is somene that I respect. I just do not know why SVSi is not advertising something that was a great accomplishment.
