I would love to see those numbers as well but would really like to see some races. I searched but can't find any roe vs paxton vids anywhere. Also with the base bolt on paxton and a roe blower at 10psi and w-m who would win in an 1/8th mile race. Also what's the price difference for the base paxton vs the roe.
When you guys go to that closed course make sure you bring along someone who knows how to use a video recorder whether its at brandenton or mexico.

In the 1/8th, I think the Roe would destroy (hp/tq at low rpms) and I think the paxton (brand new) is slightly more (2k more). But if someone could chime in on this and not throw other variable in, be greatly appreciated.

The Roe feels like full throttle any time the throttle goes to the floor. A lot of Paxton guys say they prefer the Paxton because it drives stock under 3500rpm.

Dyno is not the same as driving. My Roe feels as though the power is much less at 5,000rpm than it is at 2,000rpm. The hp numbers start low and get highest after 5400rpm. Torque numbers start really high, then get lower after 4,000.

I would not do it years ago, i set up the Mag test of Dan Blacks stage 2 DLM car.Smith got the thing to run mid 10s at 140 plus on stock Pilots. Now they are even more efficient -especially since alot of the Paxton guys have upgraded intercooler kits (alot less heatsoak ect ).Also remember Dougs kits are customized (-engines BUILT-TUNED specifically for blower applications)

I dont know about now but when Blacks car was tested DLM did not due mail order kits.Bacically Doug told me that since his name was on it he wanted to be the person responsible for the install and tune.(basically did not want a third party involved -expermenting with tuning and blower pulley sizes ect )

dougs not likely gonna do a DIY kit. he's way to meticulous and worried about his good name to let another guy do the work and tune it and then have problems later only to tarnish his name. but i might be wrong, ask him....

I wouldn't do it, it's a trap. After riding with Plum you will sell your Roe.:D

Shame on you Plum trying to sucker this poor guy:D

That's alright. He hasn't got anything that a big shot of juice on my little Roe wouldn't cure.:eater:
