wheels interchangeable between years?

Anyone know if the aftermarket wheels designed for gen 3 and 4 cars will fit our gen 2's properly?

I'm just wondering about the backspacing

they should fit like a glove only Gen V front wheels have a slightly different offset. But even though a couple of members have the genV wheels on the their Gen 2 cars.
