Where did the power come from??

I think rear exhaust freed up like 15HP. I think also the engine or heads flow better also for the extra additional HP..

1998+ came with stock headers. They weren't good for any documented HP gains, but the saved on weight. But you can't compare those stock headers to aftermarket Belangers , etc. for HP gain.

i believe it was the rear exhaust, bumped up compression, and a milder cam...

but i could be wrong..

Where did Dodge get the extra 50 HP from when comparing the GenI to the GenII.
Do they have diff heads or diff compresion?
Oh also does the GTS come standard with headers? I didn't think so, but one of my local dealers says they do.
