Yes there were but VERY FEW! I think there were maybe 100 or 200 at most. In 1997 Blue with white stripe RT/10's were made, proving to be one of the most desired combos ever. The GTS took the spotlight then.

How bad do you want one? $$ Nelson Auto has one with no miles on it I heard. I bet they want A LOT of money.

I have a '97 RT/10, but I didn't like the smooth hood look, so I purchased a '99 hood for it. There really aren't many substantial differences between 97 and 99, anyway.

Best regards

Yes, VERY few made. I looked for one myself not too long ago.

The '97 RT/10 was the first RT/10 to be Gen II (I believe).

Just to pick up on what Chuck said though it's not the main issue of this thread...a roadster does not have side windows and therefore the top (when available) is usually constructed with side curtains.
Many cars today are misnamed (called roadsters when they are convertibles) for marketing purposes.

Car deffinitions are so hard.

I thought a roadster was merely a car where the top came entirely off, rather than a convertable where it is still attached to the car and folds into a compartment or trunk.

Re: Car deffinitions are so hard.

Was out at Nelson Auto Group early this a.m. Blue/white 97 RT sitting in their showroom. 83 miles on the clock. One interesting note, car had hard top on, no stripes on top, looked factory to me. However, original window sticker showed a -$2,500 for hardtop delete. There were no sales people there yet as it was 7:30 a.m. I'm assuming this particular car did not come with the hardtop.

Don't know their asking price (see above).

FYI, they also had a Black 93 with 550 miles.
