Where to find lic. plate frames??

In the viper quarterly there was a lic. plate frame that was given to ( Tom Sidlick??) at VOI7 by a VCA member that said " I Love Corvettes They Taste Like Chicken" Does anyone know where I can get one??

Try going to Mail Boxes Etc. and see how much they'll charge you to make one. I think they make "personalized" plate frames.

Thanks, but the one in Viper Quarterly was not an engraved one, it was made in quantity somewhere. The engraved ones do not look as good IMHO>

I know which one you're talking about. I haven't seen the pictures as I do not suscribe to VM, unfortunatly. It's a black plastic with white lettering (at least for Porsches and Ferraris). Ben Treynor has the Corvette plate, engraved in metal. You may want to PM him. I couldn't tell you who makes them, but decided to throw out an idea.

click search button (just under the advertisement headers), search by username. All other fields should be fine to find him. If not, just adjust the time frame near the bottom.

Heh. As it turns out, *I* was the person who gave Tom his license plate frame at VOI7. I had ordered it for myself, but after seeing him on stage it was clear that he needed it, so I grabbed it off my yellow RT (which was on display) and handed it to him after his speech.

I ordered the plate through Gunther Gifts (www.gunthergifts.com) and it's the black metallic frame with white lettering. I've also tried their chrome frame with black lettering, and while it looks good on its own, it's very hard to read when on the car.

Treynor, & Gerald thanks for the info. I thought the one I saw was a stamped one not an engraved on?? Treynor, did you have it ingraved?? The one you gave Tom, was it a black metallic frame with white lettering?? That one looked very easy to read.

Treynor's the one that gave me the info (thanks) and I'm very pleased with the black frame and white letters. They lost my first order, but overall very pleased with gunthergifts. And for $22.45 including shipping, the plate was better than I expected.

I have one on order also. I tried emailing Ivan for the "ferraris for lunch" one but he has not responded yet. Does anyone know if there is somewhere else I can get that one?
