Day 3 to VOI 11 had even more amazing countryside. Willem will post the pics, I was driving and enjoying the scenery. I especially liked Wyoming and Utah, the hills, valleys, and rock formations are something to see. We saw some salt lakes also! The first Viper we saw was a snakeskin green coupe that passed us an we saw a couple of more times along the way. Then a silver Dodge Ram Daytona with a Hemi trailering a red coupe with comp coupe accessories from Wisconson passed us an we would take turns leading. We hung out with each other for a while, stopping for gas and lunch. We pulled off on the highest point on I80, over 8000 feet above sea level, to meet up with one of the caravans, but no one showed up. We left at 5:30 AM local time to meet up with the Grand Caravan, but it wasn't to be as they had a flat on one of the trailers and later had mechanical problems. We ate at a diner that was on the show: Diners and dives, something like that, I've never watched it so I know I have the name only partially correct. On the way to the diner we saw the Illionis group and chatted with them for 5 minutes or so. Both hotels are very beautiful and the people are very nice. I'll take pics today. We arrived at 6PM local time and parked in trailer lot. Unloaded the Viper and parked in the garage with the others and parked my truck at the hotel. The Viper is filthy from the first day of all rain and I'll be spending a good amount of time cleaning it today.
