One of the great highlights of VOI's is the chance for people that have never taken their Viper to a road course, oval, autocross or drag strip, to experience them in their own cars with skilled instuctors at their side.
To drive a Viper on a real race track is something that every Viper owner should have the chance to do, at least once. These cars were breed and constructed to excell on the track. Doing this, in a well controlled venue, is an eye opening experience, especially for someone new to their Vipers.
Due to the economy, many racers have had to scale back their track time, but that does not mean that owners do not appreciate the ultra high performance capabilities built into every production Viper.
I hope Bob's post encourages Viper owners to take advantage of track days offered by their regional clubs, and local open track events put on by independent time attack type organizations.
In addition, the SoCal VCA club puts on a fantastic Car Control Seminar where owners can learn how Vipers can be controlled when traction is used to the max.
