Who is interested in a Gen 2 adjustable coilover set for less than 1400

I'm in - probably having my 01 ACR shocks rebuilt for the last time. Stock on replacement parts is almost gone. Very soon even these won't be able to be rebuilt. Want to do them, put them away and get a replacement set.

Ok well the company got back to me. They never mentioned a minimum order in the beginning when we were setting up this arrangement. They contacted me and said the minimum order would have to be 20 sets of coilovers. I kindly informed them that they will not receive 20 orders, (20,000+ dollars) prior to there being testing done on a product. I also kindly informed them that the vehicle they were suppose to be designing coilovers for was not a Honda Civic and that people are not going to pre-order an untested item on a car designed to go 200+ mph, it's just not going to happen.

I'm happy they were so up front in the beginning so we wouldn't have wasted a couple of months on this venture. Wait, we did waste a couple of months. Thank you d2!

No thread Hi Jack here, me and King Snake have talked and he suggested I post in this thread.

Here are a new set of Viper only adjustable Coilovers that I am releasing this week.

They are rebound and dampening adjustable and the come with helpers on the front as you can see in the pics (rears dont really need helpers as when you jack one side the sway bar keeps the suspension semi loaded)

These are coming out at $1495 and there are options for
1) Torsion release bearings
2) Adjuster wrench
3) remote adjuster knobs that allow you to adjust the shocks from withing the car (or in teh hatch or under the hood vs jack it up and twist the knob type of thing)

I have to admit, they do look pretty damn ****! Unfortunately things have changed for me after working to get a set made so I won't be purchasing a set, at least not for now.

Someone please install these and post a review :)

Great option, how do they compare in weight to the stock shocks? Will you you provide a rebuild service? Do you have a shock dyno graph?

There is a market for these, have you considered doing the Gen 1 shocks as well?

I'll give you a call some time today and we can share insights, your opinion is valuable to me, as always. Phone # still the same?

I usually do all my rebuilding with the pros at PSI (Performance Shock), they have always rebuilt all my Motons and Penskes etc , they are very reasonable and know their stuff. These shocks are made to operate at the lowered levels that most Viper owners crave and when combined with proper spring rates and the torsion release bearings to allow the springs to twist on compression, we will have a lot less of an issue with potential need for rebuild.

I also have some higher end remote canister coil overs in the works for those who want to do more track time, these coil overs here are for street/occasional track (road race).

How much for the options on the above mentioned coil overs? looks like they have potential, keep us posted. I'm interested, would like to have a set for VOI. Albeit it's just an oval ;)

I've run the Koni on my 98 ACR, the dynamic on my 01 ACR, Penske on my 96 GTS race car, and moton on my 03 comp coupe. They all do the same job just fine. I have no less than 15 different sets of spring pairs in the garage which were experimented with along with different shock settings and tire pressures and ride heights and wing settings to create the optimal platform for racing at any given track. Some guys perform better with super stiff, others with super soft. Some guys like understeer and some like oversteer. This is a rigorous exercise to find happiness and it is unlikely that the springs and shock settings you want for the street will be the same for the track. I would think that ACR springs and shocks are your best bet as they have been tested rigorously and work well with your chassis.

The wrench is $27.00
the torsion release bearings are $30 each x 4

the remote adjusters, I am still working on, (figuring out the lengths etc ) but they will be approx $30-40 per corner, maybe less

I get it. Didn't realize the thrust was cost. Looks opportunistic for the occasional track guy. Well done. Hey, best of luck. The product looks great in the pics.

I am very interested. I am looking for something that will stiffen up my suspension in a controlled way. My stock gts is way too wallowy.
When are these available?
