Not sure if anyone noticed but the viper srt black side hood emblems are not truly black but more dark grey. Who makes custom viper emblems these days? I need a set in true gloss black. Maybe even a set that reads twin turbo instead of srt10?

There are many threads on different viper websites about how slow RandJ are and how they don't answer the phones or reply to emails. I did get my set of emblems...took 3-4 weeks with multiple emails sent.

I have purchased a few sets for R & J, took a while but well worth the wait.
I have had many from R&J and they look great.
that's the exact same one i got for my old GTS. I remember paying $250 dollars for the set. Seeemed a little to excesive. I can get a set of fully custom billet emblems for much cheaper then that.
Me too but when you put it against a black gts emblem you will see the difference. Or on a black car, you will see that its more of a dull dark grey.
Never though of that. Paint them on or off the car?
You have to paint them before applying them on the car and you would have to be very careful not to mess up the alignment. or the adhesive tape. I looked at it and it is definitely doable.
Thats exactly what im going to do. Now I have to buy another set. I just bought one about two months ago, should have never put it on the car :/ Anyone have a black set for sale?

I need to buy a pair as well since I'm doing a SSG theme and will need to paint them... Let me know if you find some for cheap. When I looked yesterday, I believe the cheapest I saw was $45 per emblem.

Yes i think so. I only noticed when i put the one side on. Who knew Chrysler would not make them in a true black LOL
Seeing the body wrap on your car, it seems OEM finish would match perfectly?
Oem finish does match the wrap perfectly but I want the emblem to pop an stand out. Which it will inflows black.
