Not seeing the GEN III prices dropping much as they are already at the low point. Gen IV will continue to drop as all newer vehicles do. If the GEN V comes out and is the cats meow, then it will really take a chunk out of the GEN II GTS prices which have been very strong lately. The GEN V really takes a lot of styling cues from that old GTS. RT/10s are very low right now so I do not see them dropping much, maybe even gaining sum as there are no more of that style EVER.
As far as cars with no respect. I seem to hit them all in my mini collection. 06' Viper SRT-10 Coupe, 95' Saleen S351R Speedster, etc. I like cars that are as close to one off as you can get. Who wants to be that guy in his special car, just to pull up to a light to see another just like it beside you and two across the way along with two at each cross light. Vettes are vettes, after the 65'-67' models, the rest are just plain jane mass produced cars. Nothing really special!.
But I will tell you times are changing as I helped my 18 yr old nephew to find and acquire a great 95' Saleen S351 Convertible for mid teens. He loves the look but it is too rough riding, too loud, etc. for him. He would rather have some zipper drift car like a 350Z instead. ***!! For a lot of the kids today that is the kind of crap they want and it is coming from where, the media, video games, magazines, etc.
Where did all the real men go in America? Glad I am not a part of these newer generations. Bottomline is Viper gets respect from real enthusiats, not posers or wanna-bees, etc. It is the closest I could get to a modern day Shelby Cobra. That is what I wanted and that is want I got. Absolutley no complains and havign driven mine on the track at Miller during VOI11, I have nothing but respect for the car. Frankly until I did that little 15 minutes, I never really knew the car could be like that. Aretha is a signing away now!
