A buddy of mine is looking at doing a swap and wasn't sure if it would fit. We think it will, but thought someone here would know. Thanks in advance!

I noticed my hood on my 96 RT has front intake and side vent, cut-out, slots molded into the hood (on the underside). Is this the same for all 96 RT's/
would this indicate the same hood was used for the GTS ? Or is
my hood a freak?

the inner hood of the '96 RT/10 was from the upcoming GTS, and has the openings to facilitate louvres
quote:
Originally posted by HP:

Big Carrot, I would not recommend your friend do that. That is the first obvious sign of bad front end collision. Not only will that hood cost him $$$, but the value of his Viper will drop about 20%. Pretty obvious mismatch. Just something to think about.

BigCarrot,
I almost forgot, you'll need the front half of a GENII Air Box to make the "Nacaduct" [Hood Scoop] functional.
I have added many "Nacaducts" to GENI Hoods! [It fits!]

He loves the car, will probably have it forever, and I'm sure he'll keep the original. Problem solved!
