Will a Gen I softtop fit on a \'96?

Will a Gen I ('94) soft top fit on a '96? It was my understanding that it would, because the '96's still don't have power windows and they dimentions of the car haven't changed. Am I off base here? Thanks in advance!

A '96 is a Gen I so the overall top is the same. The top will fit but may need different front pins. The pins changed several times during Gen I.

Yep, top will fit, had a early model top on my '96, pins were different but fit without any problems. Later traded for '96 top and it also fit but did have different pins.
