will gen3 valve covers fit a gen 1

Probably not with HArland sharps, you will need a spacer or they won't clear,

There are some new valve covers coming out soon

Will fit Gen 1, 2 or 3 perfectly, adds 1.25 inches of rocker clearance. Just don't now if there is a market for big tall valve covers that can
be painted, powder coated, polished, chromed etc.

I have found that you run into a problem trying to put taller valve covers on a gen 1. On the passenger side the throttle cable bracket sticks out over the valve cover and there is not enough clearance to install the valve cover. I tried to put a spacer under my stock valve covers and ran into this problem.
