Will the original warrantee cover replacement of a seat?

I did a search but it appears this is not a typical problem. I am considering the purchase of an '01 RT/10 with low miles. The owner states that the car is in perfect condition except for the driver's seat. The leather on the bottom portion of the seat appears "stretched" more than one would expect on such a young car. Will the original manufacturer's warrantee allow me to have the seat replaced? Thanks for any information that you can provide.

If you choose not to purchase the car lemme know some details on it I might just be in the market you can PM the info....Thanks On your question I am sure that the warranty will cover it, at least I know Toyota would cover a claim like this. Hope this helps. Chad

If it is... or if it isn't...

I have a pair of seats from my 2000 GTS for sale as a result of a "track car transformation".

My thoughts are that it probably isn't since seat wear is usually "normal wear and tear".

You may just want to live with it.

Garolittle,
Give Chuck Tator a call. If I remember correctly he has successfully had this replaced under warranty. I know you might not live nearby but maybe he can give you info on how to ensure the dealer replaces it under warranty.
