Yeh, shameless plug for the boss in his best qualifying effort ever, and the fastest Viper to boot!! The World Challenge Series Race will be run today at 5:15 EDT, and this is a revised time due to Tropical Storm Ernesto. Good qualifying again for the Snakes, as 3 drivers ended up in the top 10. The fast, tricky, course in Canada was fraught with damp, drizzly weather, making it even more amazing the Comp Coupes qualified as well against the Porsches and such. Below is a listing of the qualifying order with apologies to Stu Frederick and Brett Pearson, as the system went down while I was trying to get all the Viper's placings.

First and second in qualifying were the Cadillacs of Ron Fellows and Andy Pilgrim , which just got concessions from SCCA on weight and other issues....looks like they are more than competitive now!

1. Ron Fellows - Cadillac
2. Andy Pilgrim - Cadillac
3. Leighton Reese - Corvette

Listed now are the Comp Coupe qualifying spots:
4. Bob Woodhouse
8. Tommy Archer
10. Rob Foster
11. Jim McCann
13. Mike McCann
19. Lenny Diller
25. Ritch Marziale

Good going Bob. Do we know when it will be on SPEED?

When and if Bob ever retires, it would be great to see Tommy drive for him. You guys could do an Archer ACR exclusively by Woodhouse. :2tu:
I love that Woodhouse paint scheme.

Kudos to Brett Pearson, as he qualified in 6th. That means we have 4 Vipers in the top ten, and my apologies for missing him earlier, but the scoring window went down on the live feed before I could get everyone.

I can't believe the caddys are kicking butt :(

That's because the rules penalize the winners. Archer won last week so the Vipers suffer the penalty.

So if the Caddys win they'll take the hit

That car is a joke. It is allowed so many modifications from stock it might as well run NASCAR Nextel Cup. It's GM's lame attempt to marque it's luxury sport contender. It probably won't even be around next year.

Congrats Woodhouse and all the Vipers again. Great job!!!

Chevy is the F1 Ferrari of American racing. They know far more about bending the rules than the judges that watch over them. Every time I see the World GT Challenge I get pissed at Dodge for not helping our guys out. :evilmad:
