Nah. Had 'em for almost 2 years, in Arizona, in 115 degree weather. Nada.

just finished sanding the jb weld. Its holding good. Gotta do some smoothing because of air bubbles but it will work for what I need.
Moving right along. I have projectors lined up, just doing the finishing touches on the bezel to get it ready to install. Still need to finish sanding the JB weld, clean it all really good, tape off and paint.

Here is where I am at tonight. I have filled and smooth the hole to the best of my ability. I am mechanically inclined, definitely not bodywork inclined. I am going to continue on even though there is a slight circle that is visible from the filled hole. JB weld and acrylic pieces worked great. I have put a slight sanding on everything, taped off everything, and did the first coat. Hopefully after a few coats everything will look awesome. The mounted projectors showed up today and they look awesome! Photos of those maybe tomorrow. Teaser photos of the lens.

Ok keep in mind this is my practice run.

Some of you may ask why swap out the projector. Well the OEM projector is trash. It is old technology and was never meant to run HID's in. I am putting a lens in that was meant for HID's. I should get much better lighting output as well as no hot spots.

Here is the finished painted product. I painted the bezel on the outside though I would rather paint it on the inside. I'm not sure I am talented enough to paint it in that fashion. I also though about painting the inside of the bezel and the only outside part to paint would be the small section where I filled the hole in for the level delete. I also thought about throwing a running light in that hole where that level goes. Options options.

Stupid question. Can you not remove the OEM lense? Or do you have to swap out the entire projector? Just trying to see if there is a way to do a direct swap without having to cut the high beam reflector.

Since you have to glue in the new projectors, are you still able to adjust them up and down?

They are still able to be adjusted. Also you can swap out your OEM len's but the housing is crappy to start with. I originally was going to swap the lens out, and still might as a trial run but I was told by more knowledgeable people it wasn't worth the effort.

I am waiting on a set of bezels to arrive so I can officially complete the project but I have made great strides with it today. Extremely happy with the results. The camera does not do it justice!

The new projectors look like a huge improvement over the OEM ones. I'm assuming you're using switchback LED's in your turn signals? I have them installed in mine and I really like how they work.

Yes switchback LED's. I really like them. Just having the new projectors on in the garage there is an awesome cutoff for them while the light just scatters everywhere on the old ones. Once I get everything installed I will find a wall and get my lights lined up flat and nice.

I noticed that when I installed my switchbacks and leds in my front side markers that whenever I use the turn signal it makes the marker light a turn signal. Does yours work like that too?

I like it because the real turn signal will flash and then the marker light. Looks factory!

I had led's in the side markers in the front and they never flashed. I run silver orange bulbs now.

As requested by Tim, figured I would share. Please note this bezel will not remain in my car. I have not reinstalled my headlights yet and I had a spare bezel so I painted it factory color to entertain Tim's idea. I personally don't think it will look good. Tomorrow once it is dry I will install it in the car to see how it turns out.

I personally don't like the look. Maybe if the entire thing was painted yellow it would look better. Regardless, not for me.
