Hey last summer i put some aftermarket exhaust on so i had the side sills off. Somehow I lost 9 of the sheet metal screws that hold the side panel on. I was at Fastenal to pick up some unrelated bolts and they told me they could get them but it would likely be faster to go straight to Chrysler. Anyway, I went to Chrysler and they quoted me $90 for 9 of the (half inch long?) sheet metal screws. Do you know if they'd have to re-open the chinese factory to make these 9 screws or what? It was horrible...needless to say I will go back to Fastenal to order them.

There a couple of bolts on the Viper they want some crazy $$$ for. I know the shock tower bolts, oil pan bolts, and the side sill bolts are all over $10/ea. Fastenal is your friend :)

The stealerships prices for our parts are beyond STUPID.......I never buy from them anymore.....you are $$$$$$$$ better off going online and finding a replacement part yourself and can get it overnight........

Oh HARLEY stealerships are just as bad......go on line......

ya your right. I usually do buy online, but I thought hey these are just sheet metal screws...nothing special. I guess I was wrong because they must be platinum plated for $10 each

I believe they do have a coating that prevents corrosion between the aluminum sill and the steel frame, $9 is still nuts though.

I need a couple of those black plastic "rivets" that keep the front fascia piece in place. While replacing my headlights, some cracked from old age.

What size do I need , and who sells them? Thanks :) ---

Not seeing where there are plastic rivets on the front fascia - Mopar shows screws for the bottom and where it attaches in the wheel well. It could be that is what they show for the replacements as a more sturdy alternative. We can get you just about any factory fastener you need.

Are you meaning an actual "rivet" or are they the plastic push pins with the flat head? I have a whole box of them. PM me your address and I'll send you some. How many you need?

did you check your rear tires? you might find them there.

EXACTLY! Probably the best reason to riv-nut the attach points and use machine screws. Have had zero problem with loss since I did this on both my Vipers.

If anybody wants the junk OEM side sill fasterners I have the ones that came off my car, just pay shipping. I would suggest going the Rivet Nut route though.
