Would a rear spoiler on RT/10 look good?

all the posts/pictures I've ever seen of rear spoilers such as Autoforms are on GTS Vipers.

The RT/10 has a fairly narrow width to attach a spoiler. The support columns would have to be fairly close together.

So my questions are:
1) Can it be done with some of the "well-known" spoilers
2) If it can be done, do you think it detracts from the RT/10's styling?

If you are an RT/10 owner and have an after-market spoiler, post some pics and rough pricing... Spring is around the corner.... Time for some aesthetic upgrades! ;)

Hey Guys the autoform looks nice but I think the Mopar looks much better. Have it on my Black Beauty along with having it striped to match my car, nothing personal Snake Bitten yours looks sweet but The mopar is longer than the autoform and I think it doesn't get lost back there. Sorry no pics to post yet but there coming.

PS..Ask Chuck Tator he has one on his ( Mopar)

i like the autoform wing better than the mopar acutally, its a much cleaner look, i think it integrates much better with the rear than the mopar wing.

I have the Mopar Wing. No photos to show you. Does it detract from the styling of the RT10? Well, in my opinion it does! Many days I wish I did not do it. The problem with the Mopar Spoiler is you drill holes in the deck lid to attach it (permanent). The Autoform spoiler does not require drilling (removable). But I have gotten used to the downforce that it provides and I like that very much. Which is what it is meant to do. JMHO

I picked up a Mopar wing for my millenium RT/10, grey and it completed the car. It really finished the stealth look for the RT/10 and i've gotten nothing but compliments on it from everyone. Hats off to Jon B at Parts Rack again! I would post a pic if I could but don't have a personal page to pull the shots from as of yet. Used to post pics directly from my memory, but new board prevents that for now.

If i were you, i'd do one or the other. I'm partal to the mopar because that's what i have, but, they both make the overall look of the car more complete. If you need a few pics, drop me a line (i'm not a computer programmer so i have no idea how to post a pic on this board :) ). Bill :usa:

You've got mail! Some pics, too.
I have the Autoform spoiler. Two biggest pluses are No drilling on the painted surface of the deck lid and the cut out that allows the rear trunk emblem to be seen. I think it's a sleeker look than the Mopar.

>>Your 01 Viper is 100% stock??? Spend a $100 and yank that rear muffler off. You won't be sorry.

Yeah, I know... I know. I've wanted to change the exhaust for a year now.

Reason why I haven't yet?

$5000 in recent 3000GT repairs, $15000 down the tubes in the stock market, 6% pay-cut this year (due to economy), but more importantly I recently got engaged.

And you know what that means. Mucha mula for an engagment ring and of course paying for a good portion of the wedding... She also has some serious debt I'm inheiriting... Why couldn't I find a rich woman to marry? Just kidding.

So believe me brutha, when I say I REALLY do want to spruce up my RT/10...

anyone want to donate an exhaust system to a recently broke, engaged 32-yr old guy?

p.s. Thanks everyone for the suggested spoilers and all the pics. That was very helpful...

FYI...I was told by AutoForm that my spoiler provides an additional 400 pounds of downforce at 100 mph...

I think either AutoForm or Mopar look great...I simply chose AutoForm because I was not comfortable drillin holes through the trunk lid...I got my AutoForm from JonB, he carries both spoilers.

MATT: You RT looks amazing, except...wassup with those wheels man?
