It's amazing how many letter carriers abscond with these, we simply provide a list to the publisher with nearly 4k names and addresses, it's not hard to execute...........

So the VCA is serving @3500+ members? I assume that there may be 4-500 subscribers so the net number of VCA members must be close to that number. Pretty good considering.

Toolbag. So the 10 years that I was a member, supporting the club in every raffle, and adding real value to posts trying to actually help members meant nothing. Your 700 posts in less than a year adding ZERO value add so much to the experience

Posts like this are perfect examples of excuses people use who have no intention whatsoever of EVER joining either site monetarily yet enjoy the opportunity to post their opinions free of charge and still think they can exert some sort of "boycott control" over someone else's post.

You shouldn't let a toolbag or two influence your decision to continue being supportive. It appears that your trolling for adulation...but I'm probably wrong.

Seems like more bickering to me. Here is data that is relevant to the topic of the thread. I posted it before but it is worth posting again so it does not get lost as the page turns. The SRT package is a great deal!

The activities exclusive to the VOA include a cruise to a German-themed town, a Riverboat cruise, a group photo, a new twist on goodie bags, and a grand finale dinner where an attendee will leave with a brand new 2013 Viper GTS Launch Edition. The $495 entry fee includes breakfasts, lunches, and dinners during the event, as well as a door prize ticket. (Perhaps more since the foregoing data is from a May 3, 2014 VOA post.)

The SRT package for $125.00 includes:

FRIDAY, July 18, 2014
9:00 a.m. Conner Ave Assembly Plant self guided tours begin
11:00 a.m. – 1:00 p.m. Lunch will be served under the tent at Conner
3:00 p.m. Conner will close
6:00 p.m. Arrival at Walter P. Chrysler Museum
7:00 p.m. Strolling dinner at Walter P. Chrysler Museum
SATURDAY, July 19, 2014
1:00 p.m. Tours begin departing for Prefix
(assigned groups will be stated on credentials)
A list of items to do around the Southeast Michigan
area will be given in registration packet
SUNDAY, JULY 20, 2014
10:00 a.m. Arrival at Chelsea for driving activities
11:00 a.m. – 1:00 p.m. Lunch – assigned time will be given to driving groups
4:00 p.m. Driving activities end at Chelsea

For those planning on going to the Viper Homecoming it appears the plant will not be operational despite earlier reports that it would be. That's too bad as a tour of the plant and having the chance to speak with the professionals that actually build the cars would seem to be the highlight of the event. I know I enjoyed my visit years ago when I did a factory delivery.

I assume that Dodge/SRT will have people at the plant to greet us and a few vehicles to look at. Although it is not a Viper, I hope that they also have a Hellcat on display in black and in red. It would also be nice to see a 2015 preproduction SRT Charger.

Hi ,
Got an email stating that "

Dear Viper Owner,

We are looking forward to seeing you at the Viper Open House which is fast approaching. Due to a technical issue encountered during our registration process, however, we are offering complimentary admission and refunding your full registration amount ($125 per ticket purchased). We’re sorry for the inconvenience.

Your refund check will be mailed soon. We value your loyalty to Viper and to Chrysler Group. See you next weekend!

Sincerely,

The Dodge Viper SRT® Team

Did all of you get this ?

Wow, now this takes the cake. All for FREE. This means everyone going should have money left over for VOI :)

Now this makes more sense....honestly, I wasn't seeing why Chrysler was charging anything for the event. Hopefully a lot of Viper owners will get the word.

Good to have choices, We have a free event, or a $500 raffle -I'm sorry I mean door prize, I must have gotten confused. Be fair the food and boat cost $100, so it's a $400 raffle (oops sorry door prize, did it again). Be very fair a $300 door prize that is not a raffle. How do we get a refund for that? I wonder why this is not broadly shared in the "no censorship"world?

Somehow it does not seem to be appropriate for you as a VOA member to come to the VCA forum to ask questions of the VOA leadership or its members. If you can not post on the VOA forum, then you should utilize Viper Alley, IMHO. Posting such things here does not help the 2 clubs and their forums to focus on their own issues.

Just my 2 cents , and not a member of either club.

I don't know about others, but, I would say the same thing to a VCA member posting on the VOA forum about whatever upsets him about the VCA. Its really a Viper Alley type of whine.

I guess you're not getting my "censorship" comment. Let me be clear. Any post like this that I have made at either of the sites controlled by Randall and his crew are immediately deleted. You mention alley, AZ, on that one, you can whine about the VCA all day, any non-positive mention of anything other than the VCA is immediately flamed and deleted. The primary site has posts immediately deleted, at least you aren't personally attacked there.

It's ok, this will be dleeted here soon anyway, and apparently you get flamed here first too, Randall, is that you? naw you are at least decent about it, so apology for insult...

Isn't it time to stop playing games and let both clubs do their own thing?

Once again... tell me where posts are deleted on the other forum... I'd really like to know...

Kala-

LONG past time! If more people heeded your point, my mailbox wouldn't have fan mail from a few upset former VCA officers. Yes, 9 months later, they still send me fan mail, 2 last week actually. It's absolutely hilarious (and I guess I should take it as a compliment) that they bother themselves with us, as the only time we think of them is when we hit the delete key (and admittedly when this crap get's dredged up here).

Back on topic, we notified the entire Viper Nation last night on the Homecoming, as suggested in this thread. Please if you can go, nothing would go farther, at this critical time (well aside from buying all the Vipers out there) with our "new" owners to have a TON of Viper faithful there, so fingers crossed that this will help, and to Kala's point, the bickering and politics will be unseen at this event.

Unfortunately, a family health issue has arisen and I had to cancel the trip this morning. You might want to take a close look at any cars in process but not completed on the line. Someone please eat at Mr. Paul's Chop House ( where I was going to eat Thursday night). It's a great place. I ate there for the End of the Line Event in July, 2010 and the food and service were excellent. Welcome to Mr. Pauls Chop House Mr Pauls, chophouse, steak, restaurant, Michigan, Mi, chop house, prime steaks, sea food, eleganc

Have a great Viper time up there!!

Best,

Bob
