Guesstimate what my rwhp/tq is going to be

#1) I was also wondering this going catless/straight pipes.. It seems logical, but just how much extra rwhp could you squeeze out? #2) I already bought my Rockers and have heard nothing but positive things in reference to increasing power anywhere from 15-18rwhp.

Guesstimate what my rwhp/tq is going to be

I'm pretty much in the same situation as you. I've been buying my parts since last year and will finally be done buying everything and having it all installed by June. I too originally hoped to achieve 500rwhp, but have realized it isn't logical without doing the heads. My current mods are...

Guys with custom systems lets see em

JL is definitely a good way to go. I went with Boston for my subs/speakers because they performed well and cheaper than JL. I also bought a lot of stuff all at once so I was on a budget. However, if I ever have to replace my subs/speakers I will definitely be considering JL Audio.

2013 SRT Viper teaser four: one last look before the debut.

Sorry for the stupid question, but... Where are you guys seeing this teaser image?(not the one's people have altered) I went here: http://drivesrt.com/ and still don't see it?

    97 B/W GTS or 2002 FE or 2010 Coupe/ACR

Jon, that's pretty cool that you own both. I know performance and features the ACR is better, but styling wise which do you like more?

I used to run two 12" subs, but decided to run two 10" subs in my Viper instead and I'm glad I did. If you listen to a variety of music, especially rock music like KNG SNKE mentioned go with the 10s, if you listen to a lot of Rap music or anything with a lot of bass 12" is the way to go. I...

Flying to View/Buy my Viper in NC - Normal Mechanic Inspection worth it?

You should have someone from the VCA who lives in North Carolina go check it out for you. Especially, if that VCA person owns a Viper of their own. They would be a much better person to look the car over than a mechanic at a Dodge Dealer. I bought my car from Detroit, and was fortunate enough...

    GTS Front License Plate

There's been posts about this in the past. MA requires one, but I refuse to put it on my car. I bought the mount for it though from JonB at partsrack and only use the mount on the front of my car when I'm getting my registration. Otherwise, I leave the plate in my trunk. I've only gotten pulled...

    Gas Cap Latch

At first I didn't like the MGW one either, but eventually it grew on me and I bought it. I love it, and would never go back to a stock one now. Really stands out on the car in a good way with great detail. :)

Guys with custom systems lets see em

APGTS- Thank you. Before the box was built when we measured everything out, I was actually fortunate the two 10" subs would fit as I had originally planned. I demanded that the box had to be the same size as the spare tire to look right and fit the trunk best. So if the subs wouldn't have fit...

Sorry for the not so great pictures. I know I took other pictures of the trunk open without the glass in the way, but these were all I could find. This system was installed back in 2008. -Boston Pro Speakers -Boston G5 Subs -Alpine 4 Channel Amp -Alpine Mono Amp -Alpine Head Unit/iPod/MP3...

nerd on top gear Usa just said the Viper is not a real car ..

I see them from time to time saying good things about American cars. Especially an episode they had, where they flew over to San Francisco I believe and test drove 3 American Muscle/Sports cars. The ZR1, Challenger and CTS V Sedan. Although the Cadillac and Challenger are very nice cars, I do...

nerd on top gear Usa just said the Viper is not a real car ..

I've actually never watched a complete episode of the USA version. Besides, why would I when I can just watch the original Top Gear on BBC instead. :smirk: However, has anyone ever seen the episode where they matched up a red SRT Viper against a silver Z4? I remember Clarkson raving about the...

Who is interested in a Gen 2 adjustable coilover set for less than 1400

You are absolutely right lol, and I wondered the same thing when I was looking. Saw several sets ranging from $1,400-$2,000, and then an immediate jump to around $4,000 for any sets for a Viper. I eventually gave up looking for anything new or used around or under $2k, but still managed to get a...

Who is interested in a Gen 2 adjustable coilover set for less than 1400

I was fortunate enough to buy brand new KW2's for $2,995 last year in March. The ride is much smoother, and I was able to lower my GTS on 19/20s running PS2s perfectly with no rubbing. Well worth the price! :2tu: If you can get a set of KW2s in the $3,000 range you won't be disappointed.

I remember those pics Dave. I have your same tires, wheels and Dave's Big Brake Kit; except mine is lowered on KW2s now. :)

Viper made Inside Line's 100 most beautiful cars of all time!

I realized I was going to heavily disagree with this list once I saw the Veyron listed as 100.. IMHO, beautiful car.

    looking at a 96 and 97 b/w gts...

I have a 96 and only planned on buying a 96. :2tu: Although, I did consider a 97 if I found a good deal on one. Basically if you're buying the car to pretty much just drive, mod and value isn't a top priority, than it doesn't typically matter which year. If you plan to keep it completely stock...

    Recommendations on new tires anyone?...

No worries, I didn't know what KW2's were at first either. I forget if I'm allowed to post a link to KW's website, but just do a google search for: KW Variant 2 Coilover Suspension it should be the first link that shows up in the search. I think it's pretty bad a$$ too since you can kinda see...

    Recommendations on new tires anyone?...

Well if you did buy stock suspension for your car with my tire sizes the clearance where the tires are will look awful in my opinion. .5 inch is pretty low tho.. I'd say my car maybe has about a 1 inch clearance with the KW2s. It can obviously be lowered more, but this was tested as a safe...

    837 mile 94 Viper

I'm sure you would have enjoyed it, but there are definitely better buys out there. Although the GEN I will always be collectible, if you're looking for something to drive a lot and have fun with, I'd honestly only get a 95 or 96 if I were going to get a GEN I since you don't have to worry about...

    Recommendations on new tires anyone?...

On my 96 GTS my current tires are: Michelin Pilot Sport PS2, 295/30/ZR19 Michelin Pilot Sport PS2, 335/30/ZR20 With stock suspension there was no rubbing issues. I now have KW2's installed and had the car lowered about 1.5" and there is still no rubbing. I plan to buy the same size tires...

    837 mile 94 Viper

If you don't mind me asking, just curious but how much is that car selling for? I've seen some before, but it's still not too often when you see any Viper with under 1,000 miles. :)
