...since stock is a dual blade....these are claiming 15rwhp over a single blade such as the X-metal throttle body?
spend the money on a tune if you haven't already had it tuned.
The PS2 comes in a 335/25/20ZP (along with a 285/30/19 for the front) and a 335/30/20( carrerra gt tire)
In actuality, the 335/25/20 ps2 is a little bit shorter than the 345/25/20 pirelli but it is identical to the 345/25/20 Invo.
if you have a Gen II you'd want to skip the 335/30/20.
I like everything but the wheels and wing.
the wing just looks wrong
the tires on the front wheels look too big and that diamond cut finish on the centers needs to go back to the 80's
Love the paint scheme and the body work:2tu:
The Burns mufflers are real nice looking/sounding.....I had them on my car for a while....wasn't a fan of the maintenance though. The scrubble would leave metalic powder on the side sills and the little screws holding the muffler together vibrated loose a few times.
I'm kinda frugal:smirk...
I know 1K is doable with the paxton......turbos would be cool though. I'll have to do the math and see how much more I'll be spending to go the turbo route and decide.
I had the 3.55 with my paxton and loved them...picked up a quaife rear end and it had the 3.33's which are fine but I miss the 3.55 a little. 3.55 did run out of RPM a little early though.
He didn't have them on the car long enough to be able to answer that question.
My bet would be that the 335/30zr20 PS2 has a ton more grip than the little 335/25zr20...they are much smaller.
I'm just wondering what goes into thse TT cars. Obviously the motors are built and you have turbos but what else is going into the things.
I'm curious about the computer, oiling system, transmissions, differentials and any other stuff that you had to do to reliably make and handle big horse...
atf+4 for the steering
if you don't put the additive in the differential it will make bad noises....often, one bottle is not enough, you may need two bottles of additive.
getting to be quite a few silver cars with 08 hoods....looks great but I think you right to try something different. A&C's car should have had the drivers strip done in red I think...
I've always liked the 03 carbon coupe look...you could pull it off with a carbon lemke or vipar hood, carbon...
lots of silver snakes about lately....nice:)
you mentioned tracking the car...did you upgrade the oiling system?
looks nice...how about some closeups of the TT set up?
.......did you know you can fit a mid 60's GM A body in a standard sized garbage dumpster with a sawzall?.......yeah....nevermind.
Becks Beer right Mike??? ..!.. ..!..
