I'm just wondering what goes into thse TT cars. Obviously the motors are built and you have turbos but what else is going into the things.

I'm curious about the computer, oiling system, transmissions, differentials and any other stuff that you had to do to reliably make and handle big horse power.

Sinster, PJJP and GTSNRT10, did you guys all do pretty much the same kind of build or are there differences?

700rwhp from a paxton is almost insignificant these days:dunno:....I gotta get me a couple turbos:2tu:

I think the builds were fairly similar. The list of parts is pretty long. I already had a quaife and kept the oem tranny for now. AEM computer. New fuel, crank, cam, heads, pistons, rods, mains, turbo headers, new exhaust, etc. etc. You should call Kevin and have him put a quote together for you. I am in awe every time I get in the car.

TT viper would be my dream come true. Once I out grow the paxton (may be in about a year??) TT is going to be my next route. Before I built 600whp NA Z06, I considered TT option for the Z but I figured TT viper would bring more grin than the Z. Hopefully my secret piggy bank fills before I out grow the paxton :D

If I were to do it all over again, I'd have skipped the Paxton and put the funds towards a twin setup. I'm content with the Paxton, as a stock pre-08 SRT-10 is too slow for me. I don't like waiting on boost and I don't care for the lack of a broad torque curve that comes with the Paxton. Something like the Roe would have been better, to me.

I may do twins later on.

I have a 10# Roe and it is a freakin monster. I just can't wrap my head around 1000+ rwhp twin turbos. :omg:

I'd probably die a swift death in one of those cars, lol.

Do you have the stock rear gear or a shorter one? Recently I rode in the paxton car with 3.55 gear and it felt like there was no boost lag at all. The owner said it is a world of difference in the seat of the pants feel between the stock gear and 3.55 especially for the paxton car. It kinda makes sense that the shorter gear pulls the car when you're waiting for the boost to kick in. Correct me if I'm wrong.

I had the 3.55 with my paxton and loved them...picked up a quaife rear end and it had the 3.33's which are fine but I miss the 3.55 a little. 3.55 did run out of RPM a little early though.

The builds were very similar, I also added penske suspension. In the near future I would like to add shafts also. My car even has the factory exhaust, love the sound but quiet while cruising.

Talk to todd over at A&C. He has Paxton cars over the 1k mark on pump. You are so far in that direction already.

I went with RT 3.5" Cats and burns mufflers. I liked my previous Belangers, but this is even better and lower.

SMOQ, I know you like to do everything yourself, but just bite the bullet and send it to UR. It's only money.

I know 1K is doable with the paxton......turbos would be cool though. I'll have to do the math and see how much more I'll be spending to go the turbo route and decide.

The Burns mufflers are real nice looking/sounding.....I had them on my car for a while....wasn't a fan of the maintenance though. The scrubble would leave metalic powder on the side sills and the little screws holding the muffler together vibrated loose a few times.

I'm kinda frugal:smirk:

What is it for a UR set up 30-40k?

A few guys are offering up a DIY TT kit...should have some pricing soon.

How is the throttle response on the TT set up?
