I don't think it is even possible to do without removing the inner liner. Once liner is removed you can then remove the access plug so the shock can be raised up and then removed. I have no idea how you can remove the shock without doing that.

The ebrake caliper is Much smaller than the rear brake caliper. Which if you look you would be able to see the brake shoes are not even close to the same size. I'm sure the dealer will be able to order you the shoes if you decide to...
I second towdawg.......replaced my ebrake caliper and the inner shoe was shot............fast forward 3 years and it's doing it again.
To test yours, just pull up the brake some when you hear the sound and c if it quits squeaking.
