    Yes, the Viper registry does not mention any Sapphire/black combo's, definitely added after the fact. Sounds like a nice combo. I wonder if it was a stripe car or a solid Sapphire which they added stripes to, guessing the latter.

    The scrapping Viper

    I put the door edge guard along the bottom of my bumper so if and when it hits it does not scrape the bumper but the door edge guard instead. I got balck so you cannot even see it on the Sapphire.

    GTS Replacement Speakers

    Is it worth getting anything better than the Kickers? How hard is it to install, assuming I just need to pop off the door panel and bolt them in. I would guess the door panels come off pretty easy on these cars. Do the stock grills fit on these?

    Is it worth just replacing the speakers with the stock head unit? I am kinda hesitant to put any money into the Viper stereo since I never listen to it and even when it is on all I can hear is the Corsa's which sound better than any stereo IMHO.

    I got one for 70 in a 55 the DAY I BOUGHT the Viper. I was coming home form BJ Motors/VCA Crab Cruise. My wife was following me in my L with the GTS parts/exhaust in the back and she got one too. The Statey got 3 of us, the lady I was following, me and the wife. Talk about sucks...! Funny...
