Viper Meet at Piper Aircraft-Vero Beach 12/4

In regards to this special event, we have a double treat for you. First is of course meeting Melissa Holobach who's experience and knowledge in this field will interest you and make for great listening.

Melissa Holobach was the former CAAP Manager and saw and made sure that many of your 2008 Vipers were assembled just right. It is with great pleasure that we have been accepted to see this plant first hand, and make it even more special with her being our guide. Attached is also the day's schedule with special instructions;


Our second treat for this meeting will be listening to Maurice Liang speak about the 2012 Viper!! Out of the tens of thousand who have seen the 2012 Viper, including all the Chrysler Jeep and Dodge Owners who were in Orlando for the Dealer's meeting, PLUS all of the VOI 11 Attendees, plus many many other, Maurice was the ONLY one who they let in during the press release of this car with a camera. In fact, Maurice is in Detroit now photographing this car and documenting the whole project from beginning to end. You will hear Maurice talk and he will tell you everything about this amazing car. After he's done describing this car to you, I'm sure you'll be able to picture it. One comment Maurice told me, the interior is as good as Audis, which today, they do have the best interior. This car is that good.


Maurice made an announcement to his club about our event, and 2 of his members from Northern California are also flying in just for this event so if they are coming, you should be going too. Maurice will also bring some really nice gifts to be raffled off, so if you look at everything that's happening this day, this event is one not to be missed.


Please take a moment to make arrangements to attend. Piper is providing lunch so please send me a quick email and advise me of your attendance. I need to know by Monday, November 29 so that they can make the proper lunch order.

South Florida Founding Members Dave and Jessica, who is hosting Maurice Liang at their beach house in Jupiter Island, have invited all attendees to a "happy hour" drinks and relaxation after our Piper Event. Afterward, we will all go to dinner at the Jupiter Inlet across from the lighthouse. Rather than driving home, there is a nice place to stay at a very reasonable price called the Jupiter Waterfront Inn for $139 a night. On Sunday we can all go to brunch, and Dave will take us on a nice Viper Drive through the different coastal towns before heading home. A possible boat ride to see the homes of the very rich and famous is an option (Tiger's new home under construction)

Incidentally, Jupiter Island is famous for 2 well known facts; the residents and the title of highest priced homes of any Zip Code in the U.S. Greg Norman's a resident and Tiger Woods is also building his dream home there.

The weather is looking to be perfect conditions, high in the 70s and low in the 50s. Please RSVP if you make the after event get together so we know how many will attend.


Lastly, the Central North Florida's last count is 21 cars and 39 people. S. Florida crew are at 19 cars and 36 people. That's as close as ever. A huge thanks to Don and Enuice for BOTH driving their Vipers to push our car count even higher!

This will be a fantastic event so please, if you can make it to part of the event, or the whole weekend, try to come out and join us. You'll have a fantastic time and you'll see an incredible aircraft plant like none other with their state of art facility.

Time for a Piper update. We had a great time Saturday. Ivan pulled off the best event I have been to so far with the Viper Club. Even though this was a VCA event we had 10 alley members there who are also VCA members. Being members of both groups opens up additional avenues for us to travel and we did some traveling Saturday. We ended up with 33 Vipers, 1 Lambo, 1 SRT truck and of course Tony made a splash by flying in. I am still not counting the mini cooper by the way

Melissa's tour of the Piper plant was marvelous. Piper manufactures and builds almost every component at the Vero Beach site except for 4 parts. Amazing is the only way to describe our tour. The enthusiam that Melissa radiates reinforces that her leaving the Conner Ave plant is a tremendous loss for the Viper Nation.
