    I have to agree 100%. As far as the shifting issue, if it is the lockout there will be a light lit up on the dashboard indicating this. If I remember correctly I think it is an arrow. Sound like a synchronizer to me. :( Plenty of GREAT cars at GREAT prices for sale on this board.
