Let me rephrase my quote. In my opinion the PC ROB 7424 type of machine is best suited for removing towel scratches and mild to med swirls at best. Sure, especially now after the Kevin Brown method has become more popular and utilizing heavier non diminishing abrasives and more aggressive pads...
I have not tried the new ONR formula yet so cannot comment on that but I did try their original formula and have to say that I prefer Protect All Quick Easy Wash (QEW) much better. It can be bought at most RV Shops or online from the detail supply places. JMHO
They are all pretty much the...
I have to agree, 685bhp is a lot of hp for the street and it is very easy to hurt yourself if you are not careful. I could only imagine what 920bhp must be like.
Exactly. If you buy a new Corvette it cost you 20k the second you drive off the lot. I agree if you plan on racking up the mileage you can save yourself a lot of money but I would rather pay a little extra and know I have a quality car rather than one that somebody tracked the crap out of.
I do not think anybody was disputing that modifed Vipers are faster than anything on the road, that is a well known fact.
I think the point is that any car that is modifed is usually devalued when it comes time to sell. Not only do you usually lose the money you invested but you also usually...
It depends a lot on the mileage, color, year and condition of the car and they can go from very cheap (low 30's) to very expensive > 100,000 for GTSR.
Right now I would say the average descent Viper is probaby in the 40 to 45k range. Keep in mind everybodies perception of descent is...
Exactly.
Being a Sapphire/Silver is just coincidental. I would have posted the same thing had it been an 02 Graphite/Silver or even a 1999 or 2000 Black and Silver.
Had my opinion been a negative one I would not have commented. I think it was my mother that taught me, if I do not have...
Cars like that with that low of mileage are getting harder and harder to find. There is a big difference between 9k and 2k IMHO. Vipers always seem to take much longer to sell than other cars since it is such a niche market but I suspect he will get his asking price despite the economy. Sure...
There is an UNBELIEVABLE deal in the classifieds for a 01 Sapphire ACR that Dealmaker owns. I have to say it IS priced to sell. If you don't jump on this thing fast you are NOT really in the market for a Viper. I wish I had the cash and spot in my garage I would be all over this thing.
Where...
Give the National Corvette Museum Insurance a call, they insure more than corvettes are are very reasonable. They even have a drive to work waiver you can get. Tell Adam Boca I sent you.
You will have to pry the keys for my GTS out of my cold dead fingers.
That said everything is for sale for the right price but you better start out at 6 figures. :lmao:
Good luck with your search, check the classified or forum vendors.
I agree, if that car checks out OK it will be gone fast at that price. I would jump on it, even with shipping it is a deal. Find a member close to him to go look at it for you or you could even hire an independent company to inspect it, they are everywhere and probably pretty reasonable.
It...
Judging from the hand prints you are closing your hood wrong. I was taught you need to push right over where the hinges are (closer to the vents) at about 10 and 2 oclock and should not push down on the front of the hood. ;) :rolaugh: :jester:
Glad to see you are enjoying it. :2tu:
IMHO the GTS is top dog. When you say Viper everybody envisions a GTS. It is a classic and timeless style that will never go out.
The new ACR's are nice but I think it is the big wing that grabs everybodies attention. I am not a big fan of wings or black wheels so I prefer the GTS over the...
Thanks, I sent you my info in a PM. If they were recieved and not chosen that is fine but I just wanted to make sure that you guys recieved them. If you have not just let me know and I can resend them.
I sent pics in to Viper Magazine of my Viper and my niece in and next to the car for the Lifestyle section of the magazine. I don't know if you have recieved them and they just were not picked to be in the magazine or if you guys never recieved my emails. Is there anybody I can ask about this...
If used with common sense and the proper mitts and towels etc it will NOT cause any micro marring. I have used it on many black cars with no issues at all.
