Don't know if you have seen this already, it is very high mileage but looks clean.

For me the Viper is my second toy and sits on the side of the garage that I have to move stuff to get it out so I tend to jump in the Callaway more often. There is also the fact that the Callaway is quieter, has navigation and satellite radio so it is always my choice for longer rides. That...
I agree with wwfv 100%. Unfortunately I think the same thing is happening with houses in our area. With the economy being how it has been for so long people are losing confidence and pricing things too low. Luckily I am not looking to get rid of my Gen II anytime soon but if I did I would...
How could they not include the Viper on their list of "Ten cars even Non-Car people can't help but love." list.

My guess without seeing it is the carnuba is sweating and oils are coming to the surface. This is one of the reasons I prefer a good sealant like Zaino over a carnuaba product. That and durability.
Good Luck. These are very rare cars. The Graphite/Silver are also one of my favorites. I will let you know if I come across one. I would also contact Bernie at BJ Motors, he has leads on all type of cars sometimes.
I use QEW wash for my weekend cars a lot also but have to do a full fledge wash every so often mainly for the wheels. How do you get your wheel barrels clean without water?
I will also do a regular wash whenever it is real dirty or god forbid I get caught in the rain.
Any recommendations on what anti-freeze to use. I thought I saw a thread on here that recommended Peak Lifetime but cannot find it now. I assume the big thing with changing to the Peak Lifetime is the need to thoroughly flush the overflow bottle. The block will get flushed regardless. I also...
Re: Other than the Viper, what exotic car holds it\'s value well?
What he is stating about the G and F cars sounds about right. I tend to disagree with Vipers only being good in straight lines.
Ford GT is one of the only cars I would get rid of my Viper for. Unfortunately or fortunately if you are an owner, they are going for around 200k now. Even cars with a salvage title are getting good money. Prices are insane. I don't think they can keep up the way they are going but you never...
Re: Other than the Viper, what exotic car holds it\'s value well?
I apologize for digging up this old thread from 05 but I found it interesting to read some of the replies.
I would love to hear the answers to the same question but in todays economy. It seems to me the the newer Ferrari's and...
Is it a 2000? I am assuming it was Steel Gray when it was born. Beautiful car and one of my favorite colors for a Viper. Welcome to the club. Make sure you join the VCA, it is worth it.
Considering it says it was an 01 in the article I am guessing it was one of my Sapphire/Silver brethren. Sapphire can look like black if it is not bright out. Very sad, I will say prayers for the driver and his family.
What about the spot on the rear quarter on the wheel well edge.
Get an estimate and make her pay the full amount and fix it yourself. Gotta teach these morons a lesson.
NO and NO... Windex will strip any protectant or wax you have on the wheels and paper towels are very abrasive and will scratch the clear coat on them.
I wipe them down with a microfiber wet with a QEW solution after every drive, then dry them with another microfiber. I also routinely coat...
