I'm 6'4"/265
I've had the 1" kit on my '06 Coupe and now my '08 Coupe - I really like it much better than stock!
Like you, I was looking out of the top of my windshield (stock). The 1" kit makes a substantial difference, and I still have plenty of legroom.:headbang:
I have the Mopar ECU. I really don't notice any power gains, but as stated above, the Throttle pedal feels better,,,, and the damn skip-shift is gone!:2tu:
I do plan on exhaust upgrades in the near future. Probably Gears as well.
My local Dodge dealer had no issues installing mine. Never said a word about warranty claims either.
I was under the impression that as long as it was a Mopar part, it would not affect the warranty?
Whatever, my car runs damn good now! Now I need Exhaust, Air Filter, and maybe Gears!:2tu:
I saw that over the weekend.
IMO, the K&N is good, but can be had for what, $60?
I plan on removing one of my stock intake hoses and measuring it up, then buying my own.
Should be waaay less than $199.;)
That's a thought too - haven't made any decisions as of yet, but I know I like the way the polished tip looks.
Also had a Corsa on my '06 (otherwise stock exhaust) and really liked the sound.
^I knew there was a reason to move to Ohio! (assuming that's true)
That a mandatory 15 day suspension in PA, along with a fine much higher than $150.
Still sucks though...:(
I'm planning on Roe Cats and Corsa. Just having a hard time parting with my $$$ right now. Especially since all it does is rain around here anymore...:(
Looks Good! But since you've gone as far as matching the valve covers to the rest of the car, now you need a polished intake to make it look complete!;)
*Just trying to help you spend your money.
Looks to me like each grill has 6 push-in pins to hold it in place.
Carefully remove them and the grill should fall out.
BTW, I need ONE of these push-in pins as one of my grills only has 5.:dunno:
Not nearly as fast as the Viper, but I owned a 1995 SVT Mustang Cobra R for ~8 years. Never raced it, just bought it for fun.
From the Factory - No A/C. No Stereo. No back seat. Sound deadening material removed. Manual windows/locks. Rousch built 5.8 liter (351 Windsor) rated at 300hp/365tq. 5...
Try leaving it in 3rd gear and going through the traps.
With your exhaust, you may need to shift into 4th, but I ran my best time in my '06 Coupe by staying in 3rd and bouncing off the rev limiter as I went through the traps.
11.90/122 stock w/ a 1.93 60'
Possible Exhaust Group Purchase??;)
I only have 200 miles on my (2nd) new '08, but I know I want the Mopar Computer.
(At least this one got inspected BEFORE it got totalled!!:omg:)
I think I may give you a call next week!
